I love Brett Favre, but, the media is ready to anoint him Saint Favre while he's hot. I wonder what they would be saying if they Packers were 1-3. What do you guys think?

For anyone who thinks I'm knocking Brett Favre, consider yourself a moron.

If the Packers were 1-3, they would be pointing out that he has the second most interceptions, and is very close to the record of that... he has a horrible QB Rating... ect.

You know, the things that SHOULD be discussed.

The media goes over board about everything. If he wasn't a good year they'd be all over him. Remember a couple of years ago when the Packers were 4-12 and they all were saying he should retire? Now they're saying how is still on top of the game at 37. I love Favre too, a lot of people go overboard with it. I just enjoy watching him play and form my own opinions. Then skip the post and pre-game BS.

Favre is still one of if not THE BEST quarterbacks in the game. If he was playing for the Patriots or Colts he would put up better numbers than Manning or Brady. Quarterbacks are ONLY as good as the players around them and the Defense their own team has. Aikman was horrible in Dallas until he had a team of probowlers around him. Steve young stunk in Tampa Bay but was awesome in San Francisco. . . Heck for that matter there were several average at best QBs in San Fran when they were good. . Jeff Kemp. . was just one of them. Favre is also putting up better numbers because the Packer Defense is very good this year. The defenses he is facing are tired by the second quarter becase the packer defense is keeping them on the field and not giving them a rest. If you put Peyton Manning on a bad team with a bad offensive line he would look like Rex Grossman. . . well. . maybe not that bad. Charlie Weiss is a douchebaggg and Hilary Clinton is a BBD!!! I think TENNISROX is smoking something.

they would say what they have been saying the last three seasons, calling for his retirement, saying hes old, saying hes hurting his team by playing this long, its funny how quick the media jumps on and off bandwagons now all the sudden hes a god because hes winning they put too much on a qbs shoulders last time i checked there were 11 men on either side of the ball, football is a team sport but the qbs get all the accolades when they win and most of the blame when they lose brett is a class guy and im happy to see the pack winning again

i think as long as he broke the record people cant realy talk bad about him but since the packs are lighing up the standings some how it makes farves possible last year playing football an anmzing way to leave the league but as far as im concurned he can play for the nest 3-5 years if he keeps playing like he is now im a long time rams fan but i still love watching farve play this year he always finds a way to throw the ball deffinitly the most exciteing QB of the year so far

Brett Favre is the greatest quarterback to ever play the game. That's common sense. He's already been annointed by his peers and colleagues. The media doesn't matter one little bit.

Well, If your from Wisconsin, like myself... You wouldnt be saying anything different. Favre is great and still would be great if they were 1-3.

Nothing... 2 seasons ago they sucked and never did they say bad stuff about him, it was always the recievers fault no matter what. When you live here in Wisconsin he's like a saint

It wouldn't be his fault... His receivers would have been running the wrong routes. Remember that is what they were saying last year.

I think he's 4-0, and has the record for wins, passing yardage, and TDs for QBs, in case you didn't know...
