Several time in the last couple of years I'd get over heated and I'd feel very light headed and feel close to fainting. I thought it may because of the fact that I hadn't enough to eat and I was to warm. I'm in the 7th grade now and I have to do a mile and 3/4 run every monday in 15 minutes. I've done it 2 times so far, and I've been able to make the time. The 1st time, I thought that I may feel faint again so I ate a quick snack before. But I got a cramp, and then afterwards I got light headed again. The 2nd I ate a big breakfast so then I would be sure not to get a cramp since I have PE 3rd period. But when it came to the run about half way through it I got a cramp again and felt dizzy after it was through. I looked at the symptoms for heat exhaustion because I thought that may be possible, especially the part about muscle cramps, dizziness, and my skin feeling cool. I'm pretty sure I have it but I'm not sure what I should tell my PE teacher since I haven't mentioned this to her yet.

Well you should definitely tell your mom or dad and your P.E teacher ,you get cramps because your stomach is trying to digest your food and when you run your stomach can't digest it properly so it cramps up,when you feel those symptoms again you should sit down keep your head cool and try to control your breathing.and tell a doctor, you can't put that aside! E-mail me back to tell how your doing after you tell mom, dad, and doctor!

you defniatly sure and if she doesnt let you stop have your mom write a note. if you keep feeling these symptoms you might wanna see a doctor. Honostly, i think it may be that your jsut out of shape. that used to happen to me when i ran and then i started to work out on a daily basis and now i dont get any kinds of dizzyness etc. when i run

yeah i would mention it to her! but try eating banannas before running! your musles need potassium to work and this should help with the cramping! as for feeling faint make sure you breath in your nose and out your mouth as you run! let your coach know whats going on and dont push your self to hard, fainting would be bad!

You should talk to a DOCTOR not a PE teacher.

Are you drinking enough water prior to gym class and running?
