It depends on the context and situation. The problem is, everyone thinks they're different from others. If this person cuts the queue instead of waiting like others, then it's called selfish. If this person doesn't go by the procedures at work then he's/she's a rebel. He/she uses right brain most of the time?Probably an artist. Free thinking as in..."Doesn't believe in religion or God?" I've met a lot who were like that in their salad days but then needed God when they were helpless in bed, sick, old, miserable..If he/she can hang out with any types of person then this mate is easygoing. It's just a personality. Nothing different. Nothing unique.

I am similar myself and will not be defeated if I am without doubt correct in my thoughts.......... anti is not a good description,,, I would say more "accurate" in what I do and the way I deal with issues mainly when professionals do not act responsibly.

I take a very serious stance over wrong doings and misconceptions that professonals may sometimes have. A little unorthodox at times i agree but if there is a target I will get there.

Bullsh*t baffles brains and im not being baffled.

Independant (sic) is certainly not the word you are looking for as it doesn't exist. In answer to your question though, someone who is anti-establishment disagrees with the ideas of the Establishment. The Establishment is generally considered to be the Government, the Church, what's left of the Aristocracy. In fact, none of these organisations have any power at all. The real power lies in the hands of the jobsworths in the Civil Service and therefore I would describe myself as a disestablishmentarianist.

I hate to put labels or tags on people. This person sounds like an independent individual and there is nothing wrong with that. We need more like him!!!

No, not "anti-establishment" or even "anti-social". The person you describe could be me and I am anti-bullsh*t, which is sometimes is mistaken for being as anti-establishment.
