I saw The Kingdom, today. VERY interesting time-line on the birth and growth of Saudi Arabia. Before Saudi Arabia, what was it called?

it was called Hejaz and Najed

Hejaz is the western part including holy city of Mecca and separated from Najed by chain of mountains.

Najed is the middle and eastern part including Persian Gulf area.

it is really strange that they did not mentioned the above information in the movie as it is the real name of that country tell 1932 and Saudia is the royal family name. But as usual Saudis always hiding the facts and leaving every body confused and brainwashed.

Vist Madain salih in Saudi arabia.
Salih was a Prophet ,mentioned in the Quran.They worshiped idoltary,but he preached monotheism.
They asked him to convert a rock into a she-camel!Which was done and they killed the camel,
which brought their destruction.His people were called Thamud or nabeateans.
