could be the heater core or your air conditioning moisture hose has broken and is directing moisture water from the air conditioner into the cab.

Is it leaking water into the floorboard or is it leaking antifreeze? Is it just condensating on the bottom of the heater box and dripping down? You could have a clogged evaporator drain tube. You can open your hood and find it on that vehicle on the firewall, near the center of the car. If it is clogged, it will leak into the car rather than onto the ground through the hose. The hose is a little elbow shape, and if it is missing, it will also cause the leak to go inside the car. Hope this helps, and you will also find it is way more than 200.00 to fix it, if it is the heater core leaking antifreeze inside the car.

Oh my goodness. For years I drove a 1988 Acura (it somewhat is rather a Honda) - and merely final year I had an analogous genuine difficulty. I under no circumstances even concept to ask the mechanic approximately it because of the fact i presumed that someway the water became coming from exterior - and merely such as you - it basically occurred while it rained. (i'm in northern california. It basically rains here interior the wintry climate) on an analogous time - I DID have problems with my cooling equipment. the vehicle might sign up as working warm - yet there became under no circumstances any steam or something. because of the fact the vehicle became two decades previous - i did no longer even difficulty with it for an prolonged time. i presumed the gauge became goofy. yet - once I did take it into the save - my mechanic reported it became some thing to do with the radiator - and that it became dropping water. (i'm sorry - i can't remember precisely what section he replaced). I under no circumstances concept something approximately the two issues being related to a minimum of one yet another. nonetheless - such as you - there became no scent of anti-freeze interior the vehicle - and you may think of that should ensue. My Acura died final year so there became under no circumstances a confirm with regard to the water on the passengers side. in case you get a diverse answer in this - might you enable me be attentive to? i've got constantly questioned. Plus i'm using a 1990 Civic now - and probably that's a Honda element. super vehicles although!!!

it could be the drain for the a/c evaporator is blocked. The water that should be draining out from under you car is instead running into the footwell.

I'll bet your a/c is running while this has been happening.

The fix is easy. Slide under the car and find the drain hose for the a/c. slip a straight wire into the hose gently as far as it goes. then move that wire around and around. remove wire.
