why not...Griese wasn't great...but he was better than Rex...and Culpepper did not put up many yards,,,but he played clean football, and counted for 5 TDs...which was about half of the Raiders TD total for all of last season...I say YES!

Daunte Culpepper I'd say is now the official starting quarterback in Oakland, as for Brian Griese... well I think he gets the job as more of a default than anything now. Smith can't give the job back to Grossman now because the team will turn on him... especially after finally giving them what they want.

Griese will be given another shot, come on, 1 game? He did ok, except his mistakes were very costly. So maybe he got those out of the way. He is still better than Rex. Kyle Orton anyone?
I think if Lane Kiffin benches Daunte again, he should be considered not only not ready to be a head coach, but also an absolute idiot.

I don't know about Griese...The Bears may be inclined to start Kyle Orton...Culpepper will start for the Raiders until the bottom falls out...Then they'll have to use Russell...

Raiders coach Kiffen is sticking with McCown as a results of fact the starter, and barring injury he will play the completed game and could be somewhat reliable against a unfavorable browns protection so i wouldnt anticipate to be certain culpepper interior the sport, yet McCown wont be beginning anymore if the raiders lose to the browns. Grossman has been terrible and their enjoying Dallas who has been enjoying properly so if grossman falters early i see him coming in game. no be counted what, i think of Griese has greater perfect odds of enjoying week 3 yet Culpepper gets you greater production later so if u would desire to drop him it is going to possibly no longer be properly worth it

what other options do the bears really have orton? or back to grossman? but daunte will start for the rest of the season or at least until the raiders are absolutly dead the jamarcus russell will get his shot
