Ok, so recently today, my female fiddler crab has been acting weird. Her eyes are sunken in, her front legs are locked, she's been on her back quite a bit, and doesn't seem to like the water too much anymore. So, is she about ready to die? Or what?

Maybe, or about to molt. What kind of conditions are you keeping the fiddlers in? Do they have a way to get completely out of the water? Do they have marine salt for both salinity and higher pH (they also use the calcium and other minerals in seawater to harden their exoskeleton)? Proper temperature? Dechlorinated water (or treated with conditioner if your water company uses chloramine instead)? A place to burrow so they're safe when they molt and can get away from the others?

You didn't mention how long you've had the fiddler. They can live for 6-7 years, but 1-2 is more typical because pet stores don't inform new owners of the conditions they should have.

Also, if you have multiple crabs, be sure the tank you keep them in is large enough that they each have enough space.

Sounds like it. Look it up online, maybe she's just sick and you can do something about it. Maybe.
