What is the truest definition of Globalization?

Princess Diana's death!

And you ask, "How come?"
An English princess with an Egyptian boyfriend crashes in a French tunnel, driving a German car with a Dutch engine, driven by a Belgian who was drunk on Scottish whisky, followed closely by Italian Paparazzi, on Japanese motorcycles, treated by an American doctor, using
Brazilian medicines.
This is asked of you by an American using Bill Gates's technology, and you're probably reading this on your computer, that uses Taiwanese chips, and a Korean monitor, assembled by Bangladeshi workers in a Singapore plant, transported by Indian lorry-drivers, hijacked by Indonesians, unloaded by Sicilian longshoremen, and trucked to you by Mexicans. Legal or il.
Do you have a better example?

I would love to take credit for this little summation, but I cannot. It was sent to me in an email, worded badly, I changed it around and this is what it came out to be. I love the addtions that some of you have made to it, and in its next incarnation, shall include them.
This site is so much damned fun, and yet can be so very serious at times....what a great combination! Love and peace to all, Goldwing

That is the best description I have heard yet!

The photographers had Japanese cameras as well. Wearing Italian clothes, made in China.

And gas from IRAQ in the tanks of their motor cycles.
And Dodie's heroine was from Columbia

The bodyguard, DLR, was wearing a Brisish suit.
And had a drink of Absolut Vodka (Only made in Sweden), while he was waiting for the dinner to end.

Adding to that, there was a French doctor, and two American tourists at the site too. But they got those off the news quickly, via a cell phone made in Norway.

Ok slk? You are in.

Good grief! I just returned from driving 850 miles and my ears are buzzing, my eyes burning and you ask something like this? Can I have a glass of wine and a massage before I answer?

And, as usual, there's the American buyer sitting there with the computer in their lap yelling "where to next?".

This would be an excellent example for a Government or Economics class. Thanks for the example.
