Took my car to the dealer for warranty repair (brand new 2007 model) and when I went to pick it up there was a scratch on the side and the hood was dented. I had to bring it to their attention. They have offered to repair. I'm upset that they tried to return it to me in that condition. Anybody out there have similiar experiences? If so what was the outcome? Did you feel the same about the car?

Hey they offered to fix it. Please don't get to mad. I some times dammage a customers car but I try to tell them first. Please realise that hundreds of cars can be serviced in a day and just moving cars on a parking lot can damage them sometimes damage go's unnoticed. Moving tool carts A/C machines in and around cars it is a wonder we don't scratch dent more cars. I own a new car too.

Have them fix it. Remember, the guy who did it isn't going to say anything because he doesn't want to get into trouble. His boss cant look over every inch of every car as it goes in or out. Don't think that the entire dealership conspired to pull a sneaky on you.

Mistakes happen, things can get overlooked and the most you can hope for is to get it fixed.

hi, purely have the hood up gazing the engine from interior the vehicle, once you positioned the vehicle in equipment with foot on brake, look ahead to the engine to shift - if it does the engine mounts are wiped out (now and back the engine will shift or jerk adequate for a belt to rub against some thing)
