I park it in a regulation slot. I have the same rights as any cage.
I usually pick one that is nearly in the open, so it can be seen.
I park it in the center of the slot. Right dab in the middle with room all around. Anyone who hits it is clearly taking two places(never happened).
I never park in a walkway, it's illegal.
Never park on the yellow stripes in front - Fire Lane, illegal and pisses me off.
Never park in the white stripes next to a handicapped spot! It is actually part of the handicapped spot, meant for getting a wheelchair in or out.

Illegal to park where normal bicycles are parked. And as well as to parking in handicapped spots, spaces with striped white lines, red zones, yellow zones. You have a motor vehicle and must park where all other motor vehicles park. Sometimes the cop wont care and would not give you a ticket, but depending on your luck, I know I have bad luck, I would just try to avoid the whole possiblity. Hope I help.

by law you have to park in a reguler parking spot as if it were a car . also if you do park next to the building or stores front entrance and someone knocks it over or gets hurt because of it being parked there you are liable for damages best bet don't do it

I only park in car slots as a last resort.
My favorite place is on a traffic island.
Park on the sidewalk, close to a wall, but away from the building's doors, if you can.
Park in the stripes but be aware of how cars back out of the spaces around it.
Park near a light pole or something that sticks up in the air, that cagers can see and don't want to back into..
I stay away from handicap slots. Those folks can be mean bastards if they think you're pissing on their turf.

I usually park in the little yellow lined spots near light poles and such. I haven't had any problems. even if you get a ticket it will simply be a parking ticket and it wont show up on insurance or any thing. go for it park up front (don't park in handicapped spots unless you want a ticket)

When parking at most Wal*Mart stores it is alright to park in the Yellow stripped areas for the handy capped. Also on the slab next to the building.

I usually jump the curb & park next to the little trees on the corner islands near the entrance, the suv's cant back over me & the mulch soaks up the oil drips from my shovel head.
stay off the grass ones your kick stand can sink in & your scooter can fall against the little tree, scratching the paint so you have to go back in & get another spray can of paint for .97 cents.

I have a real problem with riders that believe they have the right to park as close to a grocery store as they can. On the walkway, in pedestrians way etc. Are they really that lazy or are they lazy and posing? I think both! Park that machine of yours in a regular slot in the parking lot.
