my purpose in life is to be a good mom to my babies and a loving and supporting wife to my husband

What he meant was that the word "purpose" requires a design and a design requires a designer. So purpose in life implies a designer (or creator) of your life who intended you to do some particular thing. That could only be God since we don't create ourselves.
If we reject God, there is no purpose or meaning in life. All we can do is to think up things that make us feel good about ourselves and/or forget our meaningless existence. "Live life to the fullest" is an often heard phase that is intended to do just that.
But if we accept that God might exist, then seeking God is far more important that seeking purpose because finding God will solve all problems including purpose. I think God put our need for purpose into our human nature to point us to seek Him.

You know, I've thought about this a long time before I deiced to answer because I had always thought my purpose was just to have my children, be a good wife and daughter and be the "example", but now I believe that's all different. I truly believe that my purpose is to work with "at-risk" youths. To educate on the abuse of drugs and alcohol, psychical and sexual abuse and to show the "hope" that is out there.
I know that all sounds sort of dumb, but I know that this is my purpose and I feel blessed to have it.

My purpose in life is getting to where i want to be and as far as i want to get.
Another one of them is to change someone's life drastically for the better :)

well i wonder that all the time i was an accident in this world so im not sure probably to teach my real parents i lesson(they are really messed up) but im not doing a good job but i dont really know=[
