This sounds like a homework problem.

Review your lesson and master it.

Think it through however and it is pretty easy to determine.

PCMCIA is port on a notebook and is not related to the matter.

Throughput is another word for connection speed so how can this be the answer?

Modulation is convertng the digital signals to analog. If the modulation slows down would this slow down the speed? Think about it!

Line noise is interference to signal quality. If packets are unreadable or corrupted in the transfer they need to be resent. Would this speed up or slow down the effective speed? Think about it!

Use your mind here - that is what you are supposed to be doing.
