Here's my question: for those who watch "The Office," how does it mirror your own workplace? If you work in corporate America, does it remind you of work? What lessons have you learned from watching the adventures of life at Dunder-Mifflin? Is your cubicle "neighbor" a real-life Angela with no personality? Is your co-worker truly dorkier than Andy?

The basis for this question was a story in U.S. News a couple of days ago. I was curious to know if anyone who worked in a corporate position watched the show (and I'm sure there are) and I (out of curiousity) would like to know your opinion.

Well, my work's not very much like the office, but a co-worker of mine left his email account open once, and I emailed him from himself (from the future) saying that someone was going to poison the coffee at 8 am. Haha, I got the idea from the show (Jim did the exact same thing to Dwight, when he got a box of Dwights stationary).

I haven't worked in an office. I have worked in retail and I could say that I have worked with people that mirror the characteristics of some of the characters. I could also say that I have situations similar to those of which have been aired on the show (ie; Conference room meetings) and I have met A couple of people dorkier than Andy.

Could I say I learned any message from The Office, I'm not sure. Could I say that I laugh every time I watch the show, well the answer to that is "Yeppers".
