Yes, Artistag - I already said I think it's demeaning - a human child should not be called a Bump...it's stupid.
They can just say " here is a picture of so-and so...she is pregnant.

I HATE toddler bump. i do no longer understand why it purely annoys me. It makes some thing candy sound gruesome. toddler dirt is attractive nonetheless. Pregnate and preggo are the two weird and wonderful and complex. How difficult is spell examine?

I agree with you-

Celebrity magazines specialize in creating a spectacle a woman's body- "baby bump" is a perfect example of this, as well as all the focus that's placed on weight. "Angelina Jolie is dangerously thin! Friends are concerned!" and on the next page they'll have close-up shots of the cellulite on "10 worst bathing suit bodies". And of course, all of this dis-empowers us, eats away at women's self esteem and creates extremely dangerous and unrealistic standards.

What on earth is wrong with "baby bump"? Is "baby" demeaning? Is "bump" demeaning? What would you rather people say....."Distended abdomen due to gestation?"
