the stick it self is not in the right position from the start and the shifter seems to no longer go all the way the over to where the other gears are suposed to kick in. plus when i go into where the 1st gear is its third and 2nd is 4th. there seams to be lose ness and firmness where theres not soposed 2 be1

Sounds like the shifter linkage is falling apart, or damaged, or the transmission is in serious need of repairs.

Check you shift linkage. If that is loose it will cause this problem. If that's not the case, you might have bad syncros or bad tranny(chipped tooth gears, etc).
