Jeff Sagarin publishes his computer rankings weekly at
http://www.kiva.net/~jsagarin/sports/cfsend.htm . This includes both 1-A and 1-AA teams (or whatever they are called now), 242 teams in all, plus a 243rd "team" that represents Division II opponents collectively. It's a little early for any computer ranking to be reliable (not enough games have been played yet). Also, the computer rates all games equally and doesn't take into account significant changes during the season, like injuries. But at least it's an objective methodology and it's interesting to see.

They don't do one. The others receiving votes lists all the rest that are still getting votes. The only ones that get listed are the ones voted to be somewhere in the top 25.
