I am buying someone a pair of size 10 jeans but I have no idea if I am buying the right style of the size that she'll like.

You can't go wrong with a boot-cut jean, it's good for all body types. Go for a mid-low rise, but not too low-rise.

going to be straight up honest with you, unless you know her size at least within a size, do not do it. It can be very embarassing to both the giver and the receiver if you are way off. Say the women is a size 6 and you give her a 10.. or vice versa she's a 14 and you give her an 8. Size can be very traumatic for women. either way the women will either feel bad.

I would suggest trying to figure out what size she is or go with a gift card.

Size 10 jeans will usually fit a woman with a 29-30 inch waist and 39-40 inch hips if that helps at all.

You should go with a size smaller and save the receipt. This way you won't get yourself into trouble and she can exchange them for a style/size she likes.

um... DON'T DO IT!!!!! She'll be really offended if she's really like a 6 or something. Look through her pants and find a pair of pants that she wears and go off of that.
