The Freemasons are not in the business of actually building any items apart from our lodge buildings, although our ritual derives from ancient operative masonic lodges.

We hold no spiritual or scientific secrets that we keep from society. As our purpose is to help others, if we had secrets that would do so, we would surely share them.

Although our purpose is not to build a new society, if we were charged to do such, it would surely be one that was more tolerant of others and more charitable.

There are many fantastic stories and claims that link modern freemasonry to those who built megaliths but not much actual historical evidence of those ties. Other ancient structures were built by operative masons, who left their signs on the structures and modern freemasonry in part claims a linkage to them as operative masons practiced esoteric studies on their day of rest. Over time, operative masons gave way to speculative masons and freemasonry came to be.

From there, you don't have to guess what kind of society they would build --- freemasons led the Revolutionary War and formed the USA.

Everything known about freemasonry both legitimate and made up out of whole cloth can be found in almost any large university library in the "cult" section, everything! There are no known secrets of freemasonry. Only in the minds of detractors.

There were many masons who signed the U.S. Constitution.

Freemasons would build an excellent society, given the opportunity. We would certainly do a better job than the current world leadership.
