The theory goes that because of slavery the black population were stopped from having marriages and often parents were split up from the same plantation. In order to combat this black males mated wherever they could with as many as they chose.
in a modern context, this means black people especially black women cheat with men they know have partners. it is the slave mind that makes them so low & have no respect.

actually if you REALLY want to pander to racist sterotypes, its black men that are known to be less faithful than women.
Edited to add: women who cheat with married men and married men who cheat with single women are cut from the same cloth as far as I am concerned. Both are as immoral and low down as each other, but at least the single person hasnt broken vows that he/she made in the eyes of God

There has always been excuses for bad behavior. Slavery was bad for blacks, Jews, Christians, and every other group that have been forced to be slaves. But tough times do not give excuses for breaking the laws of morality. These were given by a just God for the protection and advancement of society.
In a modern context, these are the last days and there are many who are seekers of pleasure at all costs. Satan is spinning his web of deceit to enslave, once again, all mankind. Faithfulness and fidelity in marriage is still the only way to happiness and anything else is false happiness and only leads to loneliness, heartbreak, troubled kids, and disease- no matter the race. Using slavery for an excuse for bad behavior ended in 1865.

White women do that too. And black and white males. I do not think it is because of slavery, but it is a valid point to make in sociology.
To it to be involved with slavery it would mean adultery was genetic, and i do not think that has yet been proved. Maybe young girls growing up with those attitudes and values in the household would do that, but by the time we start looking for sexual partners, we are big enough to know right from wrong.

I disagree. I think if a black women continues to cheat with a man who she knows has a partner, it is her own choice. Slavery doesnt having anything to do with a women's relationship endevors in this day and age. If any thing makes them "low and have no respect" its just them.

U need to mix with other races...u seem to live a black dominated cocoon world...All races cheat on their partners....black or white....it started from the the year dot...
Wake up and get out and mix a bit more and you will find out ..cheating on partners in not the preserve of the black race. IT IS A TRAIT OF ALL RACES

Dude, I totally Agree with you but I would have to say that slavery has a smaller portion dealing with this problem..I mean..Not only African-Americans/Brown Skinned people cheat. This is happening in Every Culture. But you have a very Brilliant View point...of the Brown Skinned women.

Biologically, modern women could not have inherited "the slave mind". It is likely that most of their inherent tendencies came from tens of thousands of years of evolution in Africa. There are also many cultural influences that affect one alongside one's inherent tendencies. "The slave mind" is bogus.
