i have carpet beetles but tbh i av only seen one i need to know how i can get rid of them. my mate said there transportable by me wearing clothes and shoes is that right?

Carpet beetles are a new one on me. Cockroaches, ants, woodlice, fleas, daddy longlegs, silverfish, slugs, snails... I have battled them all and won. (without the need for the Environmental Health jobsworths, I might add) Carpet beetles? - please describe.
