My husband left a gel ink pen in his uniform shirt and an entire load of laundry has now been washed and dried. (I always check the pants but I didn't even think to check his shirt!!!)There is ink on EVERYTHING!! I need to get it out if it is possible because ALL of his uniform shirts were in the laundry too. Mostly everything is cotton except his uniform shirts, they are polyester.

You could try some rubbing alcohol. Good luck! :)

My daughter had ink stains on a white uniform years ago the only thing that helped was nail polish remover. Good luck.

Aerosol hairspray works well on regular ink, but I am not sure about Gel ink. Also alchohol. But Shout works great on stains that have been set in as well. Hope you find a soulution if this does not help!
