I live in a semidetached house. It has a sitting room, dining room, extended kitchen and attached garage, front and rear gardens. I love my house. I have lived here for 40yrs since the house was first built. It's in the middle of a housing estate.
Housing estates where all the houses were the same were the norm all those years ago so externally its the same as everyone elses on the estate except where some residents have put extentions on etc. It will have to be a house that is something extra special to get me to move.

I live in a old farm house that is 3500 sq. ft. It was built in 1865 and I love it. There is enough room for me to find a quite place and be alone to read a book. It is placed on a dead end road and our driveway is 1/2 mile long. We don't have any traffic noise going by the house and our children have full access to the 300 acres that we own. Like I said before, I love it!

We have bought a terraced house whatever that means, they look like flats to me. Anyway it has 3 bedrooms, bathroom, sitting-room , kitchen and downstairs toilet. I don't mind it but i hate the fact that when i walk out our back-door people can look at me from their windows etc. The front is fine there is a lovely forest there . Strange living like this when you have been used to all the space in SA but not too bad. Don't miss the big house in SA at all only the garden's.

Three bed semi in seaside village. Two minutes to the High Street, five minutes from the beach. Rented so not to my taste really, I hate artex (?) - and the bathroom needs doing. summer gets a bit hectic because there is no off road parking but the rent is very reasonable!

It's a mid-link in a row of four, with an archway between the middle two houses. I hate it, there's too much noise from both sides.

3 bed semi, backing on to a playing field in a nice village. It is ok, but they have overdeveloped the village now and its looking too much like Milton Keynes!
