Technical needs for the play such as set, lights, costumes, props, ect.) Just tell me about it so I can kind of budget it out.

OUR TOWN is one of the classic American plays and has always been perfect for community theatres around the country. The set is basically the stage. You decide on the 'playing areas' and these can be as simple (or more) as you wish. The costuming is the early 20th century. Lighting is your major technical concern - but this also can be as simple as you want it. The play is all in the acting - creating the people who inhabit Grover's Corner. Even the props are to be 'mimed'. I've been in it and seen it many times over the years, and the simpler you keep it the better it is, every time. Break all your legs!
