Depends on what the stain is. Sometimes a brillo pad will work. You can go to the supermarket and alot of times you can find products that are made specifically for whatever stain you may have. You just have to read the bottle. Also a good scrubbing with bleach, ammonia, or white vinegar sometimes helps.

I use pure bleach. Put a stopper in the sink and pour about 1/4 cup bleach in the sink. Use a few paper towels or napkins and wipe the bleach all over the sink full strength. (Be sure to use a glove and don't inhale the bleach) Let the bleach sit in the sink for a few mins and the sink will be perfectly clean and sanitized. Works every time.

Without knowing what kind of stain or what kind of sink it is hard to say. I had an old porcelain bathtub that had awful stains in it and I used that toilet bowl cleaner called the works. and it all came off.

They make pumice like scrubbers that are perfect for stains like that. They have them for the bath, or the kitchen. They don't really scratch the surface but the scrub away most any kind of stain. You can probably find them at Walmart or Lowes.

Have you tried lime away? If not give it a try. If this doesn't work, try toilet bowl cleaner. I've used it on very tough rust stains in a drinking fountain and it worked with little or no effort. Good luck!

Have you tried making a paste with baking soda and a little bit of water? I love that stuff. It's great for getting rid of stains. And less toxic and abrasive than Comet.

Try using oven cleaner. allow it to sit long enough to work. Some stains may require multiple treatment.
