I had my last placebo pill yesterday, the same day I started my period. However, I started my active pills today and I still have it. Is this normal? I have not missed any pills, and I started my second pack today.

Yes this is normal, do not change the schedule of your pills just because you are just now getting a period. Stick to the same schedule and you will see things even out over time.

Is Yaz the pill that has only a four day period? If so, this sounds completely reasonable. With 7 day period pills, a lot of people won't start their period until day 3 or 4 of the placebo pills. You are probably going to have a pretty normal length period, maybe a few days shorter.
