YOU SCUM BAG!!!

She's not trying to "get back with you"! She's trying to provide a life and a healthy environment for the child she bore, when YOU helped her get pregnant!

"I just got a job but I quit my last one right before she had the baby so they wouldnt take my money" You, sir, are a slime ball. YOU ARE OBLIGATED TO CARE FOR THAT CHILD. YOU CAN'T JUST DIP YOUR STICK, KNOCK SOMEONE UP, AND WALK AWAY!!!

Grow some balls, you jerk off. You may not want to waste time with your child, but his mother is doing EVERYTHING she can to take care of him. She's got every right to child support. Just because she's a "Single Mother" doesn't mean you're off the hook financially AND emotionally.

I'm sure you'll get all bent out of shape and flag this message, but I hope you read it first and realize how WRONG you are. You shouldn't have had to get to the point of witholding, because you should have been sending money, diapers, clothing, groceries, helping with rent, electricity, water, etc... so this little guy has a LIFE.

As for what they'll do, they'll probably split it up between your paychecks, in "respect" for your needs. Frankly, I think they sould castrate you or at least sterilize you. I hope your new girlfriend is on the pill, because you shouldn't be breeding.

I am not sure about michigan's laws, but here an employer has to comply with the garnishment in the first pay period within 10 days of receiving the order. They are only allowed to take a maximum of an additional $50 per week to satisfy past due support. What she does with the money is not your concern. You better stop quitting jobs to avoid child support or you will find yourself in jail.

You dont have alot of options here. Child support collection agency will garnish your wages to collect the money hopefully bi weekly to helpyou out but youre going to pay til the age depicted in the support/custody order usually 18 or 19. You helped make the child so now you will have to be financially responsible for your son. Now on your behalf, since you have to pay support you can also obtain legalvisitation rights to your son so go get them. There is currently no legal law requiring where the support money goes and there are plenty of horror stories on Q&A about this subject. Your best bet is to work with the courts and collection agency the best you can to avoid any future problems and keep you out of jail as they really do have the upper hand here. The money will come out automatically out of your paycheck and willbe distributed to her accordingly. Now if you ever lose your job or something unexpected happens notify the collection agency to temporary hold your account to prevent any legal action.Like I said you really have nooptions here except to cooperate. Good luck

Well first off you need to grow up and take care of that child, regardless of the way the mother of the child feels about you, and you need to see your child, get visitation, so she isn't around. You will never get out of paying for child support, so get over it now. They will take the money out according to how you are paid. If you owe $400 a week and you get paid weekly, they will take out $100 a week. They will start taking it out as soon as your employer gets the letter to start deducting it from your pay, and you ex will get it a few days to maybe a week later.

You need to stop quiting your jobs, because either way, you still owe the money and will not stop owing and will eventually go to jail for it.
She is allowed to spend that money on anything she see's fit seeing as she has been spending her money on your child this whole time, the only thing you need to worry about is that your child is being taken care of.

Why are you asking strangers what your employer is going to do????

ASK YOUR EMPLOYER.

And by the way, if you have children with this woman, then bad-mouthing her is just as bad as hitting your kids. DO NOT bad mouth the mother of your children unless you want to look like a selfish, silly little two year old.

What will she do with the money? Gosh, how about pay rent, electric, gas, cable, phone, groceries, upkeep on the car, gasoline, clothes, toys....etc., etc., etc.....

Yeah, shame on her for being so selfish as to want to provide a good home and something to eat for your offspring.

What you SHOULD do is stand up, be a man and pay the support for your child.

SHAME ON YOU.

And by the way, if you were a woman doing this to her ex husband who had the kids, I'd say the same thing.

No, they do it the way they do because people would have a hard time paying the full tax all at one time. The gov't makes sure it gets theirs first. You are free to do that with your own paycheck - change your withholdings so you have no fed tax withheld, and then you can pay your full amount in April. They will charge you 5-6% interest for not paying enough during the previous year, but still, that is cheap money at 5-6%.

they don't take all the money at once they do break it down if ur order is for 400 a month than they will break it up because it depends on how much ur check is for lets say u get paid every two weeks and ur check is for 700 after uncle sam takes his cut than say ur check is 570 they will take 200 and leave u with 370. don't keep quitting ur jobs because u will fall behind in ur support then if u get another job and have two jobs then they will take money from both jobs 400 is not alot when it comes to taking care of a child so just pay the support besides it is ur child if u see him or not its still yours so just do the right thing by them don't be one of those dead beat dads i hope every thing works out for u;*

I know in New York and your employer gets a letter from the court saying there taking money out of your pay check and you got to pay it is bi weekly $200 but please do not quit your job PLEASE, you can go to jail for that, you can not get out of child support you will be paying paying till your son is 21 years of age, that is the law all over.

I don't know about the legal aspects of the withholding order and all that but I do know about the real life aspects. She is going to use that money to help pay the rent on the roof your child's head, the food that goes in his belly, the heat that warms his food and the clothes he wears. Not to mention laundry detergent, baby soap, new shoes, doctor's visits, shots, etc. And trust me, if she had to actually go to court to get an income withholding order to help feed her baby, the chances of her wanting you back are slim to nil.

YOUR A JERK!!! You helped to make that baby, and IF she has an order for child support and you are obligated to help her financially. Calling her a witch is NOT going to win you any favors. IF you are hoping to NOT pay child support, then relinquish all rights to that baby, and let someone adopt your child if she marries someone who wants to give your baby his name. But I guarantee one day your going to come to regret how you treated your childs mother, and how you cheated yourself of a having a good relationship with that tiny life. Because that is how the world works my friend. I had a father who only paid $75.00 a MONTH and he expected my mother to take the rest of her "hate money" out of her bum. So before you go sprouting wings and making any more children with your new lady love.. Take care of your first obligation. Who cares If your ex wants you back, your relationship with your son and his mother has got to be amicable.(means coridal, friendly, neighborly.) Go to family court and request regular visitation with son. I promise you won't regret it.
