I'm a young Pagan, and I kept coming across this book in The Gaurdian Dragon (which by the way is a Pagan/Wiccan shop itself). I was wandering what it was. I don't want to buy it because that look, from what little I read and scanned over, looked pretty boring...What can you tell me about? What is it all about? How could I use it? Tell me what you know! I don't care how long it is, just point me in some direction and I'll take it from there.

Thanks!
~Josh~

Essentially it's a book on Western Ritual Magic. Yes, Hebrew in structure; where most modern magic comes from. It's a good read, but most of the experiments are just not practical unless you own a mine, or have servants, etc.

Read it to understand how ritual ceremonies are constructed essentially.

Pagan really isn't a descriptive enough term to recommend it. Many pagans hate everything Hebrew whilst ignoring the fact that most of the magic they do [if they are magic using pagans] is Hebrew in origin.

A pagan like you , must look into that book first of all, and then try to understand the difference between you and those characters within

THE KEY OF SOLOMON
BOOK I
CHAPTER I
CONCERNING THE DIVINE LOVE WHICH OUGHT TO PRECEDE THE ACQUISITION OF THIS KNOWLEDGE SOLOMON, the Son of David, King of Israel, hath said that the beginning of our key is to fear God, to adore Him, to honour Him with contrition of heart, to invoke Him[1] in all matters which we wish to undertake, and to operate with very great devotion, for thus God will lead us in the right way. When, therefore, thou shalt wish to acquire the knowledge of Magical Arts and Sciences, it is necessary to have prepared the order of hours and of days, and of the position of the Moon, without the operation of which thou canst effect nothing; but if thou observest them with diligence thou mayest easily and thoroughly arrive at the effect and end which thou desirest to attain.
