I think I've lost it ... happiness. I'm not even sure what makes me happy anymore. That's, that's not good. What can I do to change that?

Ask yourself these questions... Where are I going? What am I doing with my life? Where's my final destination..? What is it that I am searching for? Is there anything missing in my life right now? What causes the loss of my happiness? What should I do to get it back? Is there someone that can help me with it?

If you can clearly answer them... You will easily find the root of your unhappiness..... But first off.. Find inner peace within yourself... Let it go.. Let it all go... The worries.. The stress. Whatever is/are bothering you.... Find time for yourself... Just sit back and relax... Listen to your all-time favorite song... Reminisce... Relive your sweet memories.... Just remember.... Always remember that... Life is beautiful even when it's stormy... The sun will rise again after the rain... It always does...

Read there are many great books out there. Read motivational, inspirational or just good stories, a good book can give you new perspectives on life, learn from others experiences, or find out new information or hobbies.

Nothing like the friendship a good book can provide unless you like dogs better.

I got depressed many times, felt like I had no control over my life and didn't feel it would get any better but it does. Yesterday I felt so angry, I read a book titled Getting better, about AA and they had what usually triggered the reasons for wanting to escape, they had an acronym called H.A.L.T. standing for Hungry, Angry, Lonely, Tired. Pretty much how I felt but I am glad I don't have any addictions. That doesn't mean I can't learn anything from reading books about problems or situations I don't personally suffer from.

Happiness is only a state of mind, no one can be angry all the time, in love all the time or happy all the time. I do hope that you will feel better though. Or you can always resort to my favorite activity to forget and just work yourself to death.

You've got a case of the 'blues' my friend. The 'blues' ain't just a song, it's a state of mind brought on by depression. Some suggestions; first...check your calendar. When was the last time you took a vacation for YOU? Everybody needs some 'down' time to themselves. Even if you are married or are 'involved'. You need your space. Second, when was the last time you went out and did a few 'kid' things? Go to the arcade? Eat an ice cream cone? See a silly movie? Watch a few 'old school' cartoons? Went to a comedy club?

Lastly, what's your spiritual life like? Have you been to church in a while? Read the Bible? Walked in the country or city park to smell the roses?

We get 'bummed' out from time to time. Trick is...don't fall too far down the well. Some IS looking for YOU to help THEM...so we STILL need you here, pal! TTFN.

Toy soldiers, glass prisms, Kaliedoscopes. Things that made you happy as a child. Check them out without embaressment.. Did you ever fly a kite? Could a kitten entertain you? You may be your own worst enemy. Start by looking at your hands-- are they good hands? They should be able to help. Make something small, stupid and meaningless. It is a cool thing to do.

I go through it sometimes it sucks but just try to get out of it!! Stay busy and even maybe try talking to a counselor, or a friend talking helps a lot... Try anything to take your mind off being depressed...

Well, let's use your "wordless" idea and link it with the toast; how about: If I remain distraught and mute would you honor the wine and kick the wall out the host? .
