Weatherman is my nickname, amongst one group of friends anyway.
It partly comes from me working for the UK Meteorological Office .... but there is more to it than that.
Working security at Reading Beer Festival one year we were getting drenched with torrential rain.
I phoned work to ask how long it was going to last and the guy at the other end of the phone said "Theres no rain on the radar". (turns out the display had been put on hold a couple of days before and wasn't showing a current picture)
I replied, that loud everyone could hear "Of course theres no rain on the radar, it's all on my *effin* head"
One of the guys with me just laughed and said "Some weathermen you lot are" and it stuck

Yeah. Mines Amester. My sister made it up. There's really no story behind it.
