Is it something that could work for a small business?

My opinion is, why work with a company you don't know, when you can get a website from a company you do know. Yahoo offers excellent website building programs for as little as $7.77 for the first three months and $11.95 a month after that. They make it so easy to start and build a website, plus you get all the benefits of being in the Yahoo network.

Hope this helps.

It could work for online sales, similar to eBay sales. It will work for a few certain small businesses that focus on online sales, but it could really supplement an existing store. In that situation, you could have local and online customers that by themselves may not support your small business, but together might be enough to keep your small business going. Perhaps in the weekday mornings when your small business has little or no traffic you could do your online thing. That way you are getting customers 24/7 on ecrater.com to complement the traffic flow during your business' stated hours.
