further e-mails, phone calls or contact from me. She had been in the hospital for tests and I called to find out how she was doing - she had called and left several messages for me telling me to call her sister on the other side of the country to tell her to contact my friend in the hospital and I did so. Well, when the sister wasn't able to reach my friend in the hospital she called me after I was already in bed for the night. We talked briefly and I said maybe the reason she wasn't able to reach the friend was that she had been taken out of the room for the tests. The upshot is that my friend the next day called me and left a message that I was only to tell her sister to call her, and not to talk to her sister. Well, that is the reason, I assume, for her e-mail to me stating she wanted no further contact. I e-mailed her stating I did not understand her action and that I was sorry in any event. This friend has helped me build my business and I would hate to lose her. Help!

Just hope she was under the influence of drugs and will feel better when they wear off. To me she sounds like a *****. Just try and contact her at a later date. I hope it all works out.

That does sound very strange. At first I did not know how to answer your question, but perhpas the others who answerd are correct.

Maybe she is under the influence of some sourt of medication. Or if she e-mailed you before going into the hospital maybe she was having some sourt of mental problems? Its the only logical explination that I can think of. (Unless you can think back to something you did that may have caused her to act this way)

My best advice would be to wait until she returns home from the hospital. Give her some space to rest/get better and then try contacting her and politley ask for an explination (You could say something like "I understand that you dont want to have any further contact with me, but I cant help wondering why?" )

Good luck!

She is in denial. Maybe there is more going on then she is letting on. She is angry and feels it's better to push away people who care about her. She wants to get a hold of her sister probably because something is very serious going on with her. If it were my friend I would be all over like flies on stink asking her to tell me whats going on with her. Don't give up, maybe give her some space...........don't lose contact with her whether she wants to or not. Good luck.

she is too ill for you to deal with this now. If she recovers and is home from the hospital for a few months e mail her and tell her you are open to hearing from her and do not hold her behavior while ill against her. If she replies deal with her. If not let her go.
