Nope, way too small for anything but baby geckos, who will need a new home in a few months. It would be cruel to put a lizard in there. If you want a lizard, try to return the small tank and get a 20 gallon -- even a 10 gallon really isn't big enough for geckos who like to climb and walk around. But a 5 gallon is animal cruelty, nothing should be that constrained and unable to move.

I definately wouldn't put a reptile in a tank that small due to the fact that they have heat and lighting requirements and a tank that size would not accomodate their special needs. You could, however, put a small terrestrial tarantula in it. NOT aboreal though!!! Otherwise, I'd consider doing a beautiful set up for a betta, undergravel filter so the water remains still, lots of rocks and a few live plants can be done cheaply.

Frogs would be good. Most lizards need more room than that, plus a temperature gradient--impossible in a 5 gallon.

most lizards need at least a 10 gal. tank, but u probably can put 1-2 small frogs. thats all that i can think of right now, if i think of some more, i will post again.
