I smile just to know that God answered my prayers and let my best friend survive a car crash a month ago, which threw her out onto her face. She had no other injuries, and is doing wonderful, thanks to plastic surgeons that put her back together.
She went home two days ago. I'll soon be moving right down the road from her. Best friends are irreplaceable. That's why I am smiling today.

I smile when I'm around my pets. They always bring me joy, and they're great listeners/huggers! They provide the kind of love some humans cannot and vice versa. They keep me company, and they are just SO cute! Pets make me smile. =]

My son is just turning three and has gotten the most adorable habit of telling everyone around him when he is truly happy. He will be playing at the park or enjoying time with his family and just say out loud, "I'm happy." It's fantastic.
