Hi Erin, I have been to a "million" weddings and I only see tuxes, what is wrong with a tux? That is what men are supposed to wear for a wedding. They don't cost that much to rent, considering it is the most important day of your life. Go For It! :D

Why not just buy them? Some places, like S + K Mens Wear and K & G, also a mens wear store, likely will have them for under $150, if the commercials are any indication. Suits are nice and classic and one could always use one.

For my wedding, only my husband wore a tux, which he owns. (He bought it for the men's choral group he was in in college and said that it turned out to be not much more than what he paid to rent one the year before for his high school senior prom. Anyway, the groomsmen, his college roommate, whith whom we still keep in touch, and my brother wore khakis, a white shirt and navy blue blazers. My maid of honor (my sister) wore a hunter green dress and the bridesmaid (my husband's sister) wore a navy blue dress. The grooms men's ties matched the bridesmaids' dresses. I wanted the clothes, on both sides to be something that they would wear again. Actually, I wouldn't have been surprised if either man wore khakis and a shirt that they already owned. I think my brother had to buy a blazer, but I know that my husband found the best man's at Goodwill.

Anyway, I hope this helps.

Why would you want brown? Wouldn't you want black?
