And Oscar...you really should take that comment out about the Pac 10 and stanford. That is unless you want to let everyone know that you are a complete moron! Pac-10 is WEAK! SEC is college football!

It's about time LSU gets credit for Dominating the way they do. They have played 5 games and have given up 32 total points, and everyone says USC has a better offense but they are averaging 0.5 a point more than LSU and the level of competition played so far is in favor of LSU. LSU's second string played Middle Tennessee State.

lol tulane, my high school team could beat that trash team. washington is a great team, they can beat anyone in the country if their QB wasnt inconsistent freshman. enjoy the #1 for now (even tho the AP doesnt mean anything) because usc will be back at the top next week. and cal will be #2. Pac-10 > SEC i would bet money that stanford could beat LSU.

pete doesn't have to send in checks because his team has one the greatest offense's known to man.
however i do congradulate LSU because the do deserve to be number 1.
I mean how can a 4-0 team that struggled be ahead of a dominating 5-0 LSU team.

USC is ranked #1 as well, oh no what to do. Get over it people these little rankings here mean nothing at all, not until the almighty BCS rankings come out does this mean anything, and I highly doubt that LSU has USC beat in many other polls.

I dont think the poll menas much at the moment, both #1 and #2 will go the title game anyway, but good luck with stay on top till the end of the season.

It seems to me to be premature to chest-pound, either way, seeing that USC is #1 in the only two polls that count ( http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/polls ). Also, there is a lot of football to play, and neither may be undefeated by the end of the season.
