Receive a World Series ring if that team were to win the World Series? And if so, does it only apply to players that are within the organization. (i.e. Players traded away, DFA'd, released)

Depends on the team's policies. When Boston won in 2004, every player who played even one game, and Garciaparra who was traded away during the season, got a ring, as well as pretty much everyone in the organization. (But this, of course, was a team winning after 86 years. Other, more frequently successful franchises may not demonstrate such largesse.)

the only players who get a ring are those players who are on the world series roster. some players on the roster are inactive. but because they are still on the roster they get a ring. thats like saying all of the minor league teams in the organization get one too. u have to be on the team to get a ring.
