Yes because when people want to look something up they say they are going to 'google it'.So yes google has replaced the word search.

In terms of online searching, yes, absolutely
But, you don't google for your shirt in the drawer
or google your pen under your desk
or google that last piece of cake in the fridge

not entirely, because like when u say i need to search for my book, you don't say i need to google for it or google it, but like for searching on the computer it probably has
