Has it ever happened that you had a fling (one night of kissing or more) and that was it...kind of a one night stand even though you liked the girl/guy but due to circumstances...say you met on vacation or lived in different cities...it never progressed. Then later on you think of them and look them up? Or, you mysteriously run into them and take up where you left off?

I've seen it in movies...lie 4 weddings & a funeral but would love to hear any real live stories like this! Thanks.

Yes, had this happen about a year ago.

A girl (now woman) whom I had an off and on "dating" relationship with in H.S. located me on classmates.com

We e-mailed back and forth for about 3month or so. I live in Las Vegas, so she asked if I would like to meet and visit while she attended a convention.

We met for dinner and it was a nice evening; however as peoples personalities really don't change that much with time, I found myself pretty much with the same girl I had dated in H.S.

There was a reason that never went anywhere, and it sure kept the "reunion" from going anywhere either. She was very materialistic as a H.S. girl, and that had not changed much.

As I said, we had a nice evening, and we still e-mail about once a month (she still lives in my hometown Chicago andkeeps me up to date on other things happening back there). And, somethings just never change.

This is called skeletons in the closet and everyone has at least 1 in their closet and when they least expect it,out comes the skeleton. These skeletons nver learn theyre supposed to stay locked away in the closet forever but they still have a mind of their own and just love to make life real exciting at the most inopportune moment. There is no way for people not to acquire skeletons as we are all human and we all have some sort of a past history. In dealing with people from all over the world I have heard horror stories about skeletons arising ranging from mild to absolute nightmares where people have actually committed suicide because of them. What youre asking people todo is kind of like going where Angels fear to tread in bringing up peoples past lifes and most dont want to be reminded of those closet skeletons except maybe at Halloween time
