1966 to 1976. hands down. The best ever. Beatles, Stones, Hendrix, Tull, CSN&Y, Mountain, T Rex, The Who, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Mamas, Frank Zappa, Led Zep etc. I can carry on for ages, really. I was a child of the time and saw it all.

the 40's and 50's I think have had a never ending effect on all styles of music and I believe they will continue to do so far into the future.
