Whew - I hate the English language! It is so confusing - and I am from England. BUT tight means :
1. extremely uncomfortable
2. slang for 'won't spend money'.
3. drunk
4. squeezing too much stuff into a zippered suit case - and the zipper breaks - means the stuff was too TIGHT for the suitcase.
5. When a person buys a pair of shoes - she should buy size 8 but vanity tells her that she wants to wear a size 7 - then her
shoes would be too TIGHT for her feet.

It could mean you've had too much to drink and your tipsy. It could also mean you are stingy as in
tight fisted.
