I only have a really basic idea of this film. I think it's 50's or 60's and is about a group of men (possibly depression era) who have to transport something very explosive on trucks. They have to keep the trucks at exactly the same speed and can't stop whatever happens. One scene has one of the men getting trapped in front of the trucks and his friends have no choice but to run him over as they cannot stop.
Anyone have any clues??!!

It sounds like "Sorcerer". William Friedkin made it. Very underrated.

I don't know about the movie, but I do know there is an episode of the old show Little House on the Prairie where Pa and some other guys haul explosives and sounds very similar to what you describe. Well, except its horse and buggy rather than trucks.

Wages of Fear (1952)
In 1953, before any American studio exec used the phrase "high concept", Henri-George Clouzot's The Wages of Fear boasted a premise so literally explosive that audiences were excited before they got into the theatres. With an oil-fire burning out of control deep in the South American jungle, two lorryloads of highly unstable nitro-glycerin have to be driven through miles of unstable terrain littered with dangerous turns, crumbling planks, falling rocks and mediocre hardtop. One good jolt will vaporise truck, nitro, drivers and a substantial swathe of the countryside, so the company recruits desperate souls among the loser tramps who loiter around the nowhere town of Las Piedras, begging for any kind of work.

I shouldn't even answer this, because I didn't see any film that reminds me of this, just heard about a movie called Sorcerer, with Roy Scheider, but it was a '70's or '80's picture.

It had something to do with trucks hauling explosives, but I didn't even see it. If I am wrong, just ignore me!

Sounds close to the plot in Speed, except that was made in the 90s to reference the same time period. I'll bet it was based off your movie.

Sounds like THE WAGES OF FEAR, remade later in the Seventies as SORCEROR.
