Why would my water smell like rotton eggs when the water is from a 535' artisian well?

Because it has a lot of sulfur in it. You need to add a whole house water filter onto the pump before the water comes into the house. That should give you plenty of clean fresh water without the smell and it will taste sooooo great.

Sulfur dioxide

Common mineral contaminant.

You can probable buy a filter for it.

Sounds like sulfer.
