I am watching the Bears / Lions game as we speak.

Is this truly professional Football anymore?
Stupid mistakes by so many players. Dropped passes. Dumb penalties. Uncalled for early celebrations. Even the refs are bad in this game.

What is going on these days??

Only my opinion, but Pro Football is the property of organized crime, and the betting scene in America. Or, maybe it's because for the sake of speed, the teams put players out there that can run, but when it comes to whether they can actually catch, tackle, block, or even think, without someone holding their hand, and guiding them through their assignment, is the real question.

I am a Steelers fan as well, -Although Ben has been beneficial to the Steelers every year, I am more fond of Hines Ward. Hines has basically been the backbone of Pittsburgh for more than 10 years, and once he leaves I do not think that the team will be the same. -My favorite defensive player would probably have to be Casey Hampton, because he is pretty much the anchor for the Steeler's 3-4 defense. Also he is one of the main guys that clogs up the holes, to allow the linebackers (Harrison, Woodley, Timmons, Farrior, etc.) to break through to get the high number of sacks and tackles many people expect.

If they are getting paid to play, then it is truly professional football.
