what does it mean when you have a big,wide thumb?

my thumb in my right hand is wide and big,and all my other fingers look normal.My mom said it was because I kept sucing that thumb when I was a baby,but my friends suck their thumb and they look normal.

Back when people could trust others more than they can now, that kind of thumb would mark you as a natural hitchhiker. A natural hitchhiker could stop the middle truck in a convoy moving along at 80 mph and the truck would be going exactly where they want to go.
