Do you think, ICC should organize the TEST CRICKET WORLD CUP like 20/20 or 50/50 Worldcups,

OR

International Test Cricket League, (on the pattern of English Premier League Soccer) between test playing countries in which every country play atleast one match, with all other countries ???

Good question. *starred*

Yeah, that will be a great idea.

We can have a 5 match test series between two teams that will top the ICC rankings after every 4 years

I don't think gathering all the test playing nations for a test-tournament is a feasible option simply because of the time it going to consume to arrange te matches.

Just imagine, ten teams in two groups probably, each team playing each other once in the group stage, then the semi finals, then the finals. How many matches dow we need? Five days per match....

Test cricket is better served th way it is being played right now. And test cricket is more aggressive and interesting than ever, as we have seen in the last two years or so.

I think ICC needs to strike a balance as to haow many tests, ODIs and T20s a touring party plays in each tour. T20, in my opinion, has a more meaningful role to play in the associate members' level. People from the States and China could be hooked into cricket through T20!

Only traditional cricketers and critics will love it but not the masses. Most of the test matches will not have the result. We have to watch five days for a match which is going to be drawn.ODI born after the viewers got bored by Test matches.I have seen somany viewers were sleeping during India vs pakistan test match on karachi and multan. If test match worldcup is condusted definitely ICC will lose much. They lost much by conducting ODI world cup 2007.For compensating tat loss they conducted T20 worldcup. In future Test and ODIs will be less.Only T20 will rule and many noncircketting nations will play.Becasue T20 Catch up excitement in China as well as in US.

No. I think this is not a good idea. Test cricket is not the game which should be taken as a competition. Test cricket shows the ability of a player. So it should not be taken as others. Every person, at least 95% of people want quick result and test cricket doesn't produce it. One more thing, we don't have that much time to see the five day match continuously.

It won't be practical or interesting. It will have to go on for months.
Even the Asia cup for tests was discontinued.
But we can organise it in such a way that in a particular year, every team plays the other at least once to determine four semifinalists among the participants. The semi-finals and finals can be held in a chosen country to decide the winner.
We can have 100 or 120 overs restriction for 1st innings.
