My mom is there for me no matter what. She makes me feel wanted... even though im not. im just a waste of matter. But she loves me and gives me all the attention she can. i gave her the best bday present ever--- I woke her up @ 6 am and played the B day song on the accordion. YEs i play the accordion... its fun! :D

edit- whenever i remind her, she gets a smile on her face no matter how sad she is and says, "i love you".

she was there for me when i had a panic attack because my family discovered that my dad cheated... I was affected the most. Even though she was suffering more, she did her best to calm me down and go on with life. I do the same with her when she has a nervous breakdown.

Not really my biological mother gave me up at birth and my mother, well she was the best mother she could be given the circumstances. I had a decent childhood and the only thing it does for me today is reinforce the determination I have to be a great and loving parent.

I think she wanted to but booze got in the way. Even after she got sober it still ruled her life in that she became "meeting obsessed" and then after counselling just self absorbed. She witheld affection when we disappointed her and it still will give me pause when I know I have to tell her something she won't like.
But it has made me a better parent in that I make doubly sure my kids know I love them even when I am angry.

My mother loved me,she was always there for me,but in reality she loved the baby in the family more than me or my older brother. It had no affect on either of us because we loved him very much too.

Yes, she had a lot of problems & distractions but I know she cared about me (she's now deceased 14 years); she told me she loved me everyday.

No, she preferred my older siblings because they were the achievers. I am AOK with it, because I turned out all right, just not as accomplished.

my mom never made any of us feel like we were less than each other. she was raised in a family like that and treated us like individuals. she still loves me like i am me and God knows i love her for it.
