Does anybody at all think soap opera's are really poo or am i the only one???

i like them. they are a bit of fun, don't see any harm in them as long as you are not taking them seriously. thats when the line is crossed into being a saddo soap watcher. also people who plan their day around them, not good

not everyone likes soap operas i like them as there pure escapism and not everyone is able bodied the soap world is their lifeline it maybe not reality but its a comfort zone for many of us out here and at the end of the day your tv does have an on off switch when their on or switch channels.

well, my ? 4 u is why do u care & why r u on this site? They all are silly, fun & exscape from reality. I love them & I don't think I would date anyone who liked them as much as me. Besides, its a famly tradition,my sister was born the day Y&R first aired Mom & sis both swear they saw the first episode! What your deal? Having problems with your sexuality? All genders these days on the soaps

No, I do not think soap opera's are "poo"! (at least the two that I watch aren't!) ALL MY CHILDREN & ONE LIFE TO LIVE..... THE BEST!!

You're far from the only one. I watch if I'm between classes and have nothing else to do, but there are only a few characters whose storylines really interest me. Any time anyone else has a scene, I channel surf.

I love OLTL and GH, in fact, I think I'm addicted. From 2 to 4pm is like an escape. I get to sit down, relax and enjoy watching them.

I like the unreality of them. Like poor people going to the pub and the dead being resurrected.
They are supposed to be based on real lives, but they are really to remind you that your life is not as crap as you think.

i still watch no matter how stuiped or poo the storylines get i watch dool and gh 5 days a week. would watch on soapnet but our cable want let us have it.

They are not, they happen to be entertaining most of the time. How are they differnet from movies or other show? They all have outrageous plots.
