Most people don,t like their own name and have usually been teased about their name in younger years.Having a nice name doesn,t necessarily mean a person will like their own name.My name is okay but I,d rather have a different one.The odds of someone liking a name picked by someone else (their parents) aren,t that high.

Yes I do. It is not unusual so every one can read and say it correctly. I would never give my child a trendy name like Apple or a combination of two names with a -. That's dumb

I love my name. My entire life I have received compliments on it. (One time while a police officer was writing me a ticket he commented on the fact that he thought my name was a very nice one) .... P.S. I still received the citation but I did feel a little better about it. Oh well!

I didn't when I was younger, but I do now.

My first name is very common, but my middle and last names are quite unique. Also, my whole name (first and middle) is one given about every other generation in my family, which is kinda cool in my mind.

My name is Joe.

I am from the south.

When I was born, my mom just wanted to get out of the hospital so she said, "name him Joe, lets get out of here".

I love one syllable names. Make a one syllable name two syllable is romantic and should only be done by one's special person.

My real name is from a Greek island, which is 'Samothrace'. Or pronounced (sp) as Samothraki.

My dad named me...so I'm still debated if I like my name or not. But it's different. So, I can live with it.

I like my first name fine, and my middle name is pretty original. My last name is German and people always pronounce it like it's painful to say, I hate that.
