Would you consider him as a good person, like how they describe other heroes?

Achilles was a man of his times. The only difference between him and other men is his invulnerability--with the exception of his heel. He was a blooded hero long before he came to Troy, and that, and his invulnerability, set him up so that he acted like a human would act under the circumstances. Being a "good person" thousands of years had very different parameters. That he didn't kill anyone who annoyed him would probably place him at the level of "good" in those days.
