To convert from g/cm^3 to kg/m^3, multiply by 1000.

Explanation:

kg/m^3 = 1000g/100cm x 100cm x 100cm
= 1000/1000000
=1/1000

so, to convert kg/m^3 to g/cm^3, you would divide by 1000 and, conversely, to convert g/cm^3 to kg/m^3, you would multiply by 1000.
